These are movie reviews I made on rainy afternoons :

Kurt Cobain : About A Son

Enter Cobain's universe : not as sad and gray as the media made it, mostly marginal, poetic, sometimes odd, human. Nothing really happens in this movie, that's why most people won't like it, but Cobain's spirit is there all along to make it living.

The Cable Guy
Ben Stiller

The subject had potential but instead of exploring the cable guy's disordered personality, the film eventually stays a predictable comedy.


Jurassic Park
Steven Spielberg

The child in me gives four stars ! Dinosaurs are convincing but I wouldn't say so about the actors. It may come from French voices, I should see it in English.
Anyway Michael Crichton's novel would have merited a more nail-biting adaptation.


The Lost World - Jurassic Park
Steven Spielberg

The plot is too much simple and has no interest, just like the King Kong like scene at the end ... Crichton's characters would have been more interesting than all these sinister unknown soldiers. Nevertheless dinosaurs are one more time very living.


Jurassic Park III
Joe Johnston

That movie simply gathers all scenes from the books that had not yet been shown in the two previous movies. The plot really unnerved me ... Fortunately dinosaurs are still there and prevent Jurassic Park III from being totally trashy.


Twister
Jan de Bont

The plot is foreseeable, and characters are caricatures. The real interest of Twister is to give an idea of how powerful storms can be thanks to nice special effects.

Touching reflexion about life, with a particular atmosphere melting lunacy/madness and melancholy.
